24 Jeroboán hizo lo que ofende al SEÑOR, pues no se apartó de ninguno de los pecados con que Jeroboán hijo de Nabat hizo pecar a Israel.

2 Kings 14:24

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord
Was guilty of idolatry:

he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who
made Israel to sin;
the worship of the calves is especially meant; he was in all respects of the same cast with his ancestor of the same name, from whom he had it, in veneration of him.

22 Y fue Azarías quien, después de la muerte del rey Amasías, reconstruyó la ciudad de Elat y la reincorporó a Judá.

23 En el año quince del reinado de Amasías hijo de Joás, rey de Judá, Jeroboán hijo de Joás, rey de Israel, ascendió al trono, y reinó en Samaria cuarenta y un años.

24 Jeroboán hizo lo que ofende al SEÑOR, pues no se apartó de ninguno de los pecados con que Jeroboán hijo de Nabat hizo pecar a Israel.

25 Él fue quien restableció las fronteras de Israel desde Lebó Jamat hasta el mar del Arabá, según la palabra que el SEÑOR, Dios de Israel, había dado a conocer por medio de su siervo Jonás hijo de Amitay, el profeta de Gat Jefer.

26 Porque el SEÑOR había visto que todos los habitantes de Israel, esclavos o libres, sufrían amargamente, y que no había nadie que los ayudara.
