11 Entonces Urías construyó un altar según las instrucciones que el rey Acaz le había enviado desde Damasco, y lo terminó antes de que el rey regresara.

2 Kings 16:11

And Urijah the priest built an altar according to all that
King Ahaz had sent from Damascus
Exactly according to the size, form, figure, and carved work of it, though expressly contrary to the command of God; which fixed both the form and matter of the altar of God, with everything appertaining to it, which he, being high priest, could not be ignorant of, ( Exodus 27:1 ) but he was a timeserver, and sought to curry favour with his prince:

so Urijah the priest made it against King Ahaz came from Damascus;
both king and priest were in haste to have this altar made. Ahaz could not stay till he came home, but sent directions about it from Damascus, and the priest was so expeditious in observing his commands, that he got it done before he came thence to Jerusalem.

9 El rey de Asiria, accediendo a su petición, lanzó un ataque contra Damasco y conquistó la ciudad. Luego deportó a sus habitantes a Quir y mató a Rezín.

10 El rey Acaz fue entonces a Damasco para encontrarse con Tiglat Piléser, rey de Asiria. Cuando vio el altar que había en la ciudad, el rey Acaz le envió al sacerdote Urías un plano del altar, con un dibujo de todos los detalles.

11 Entonces Urías construyó un altar según las instrucciones que el rey Acaz le había enviado desde Damasco, y lo terminó antes de que el rey regresara.

12 Cuando este llegó de Damasco y vio el altar, se acercó y presentó allí una ofrenda.

13 Ofreció el holocausto con la ofrenda, derramó su libación y roció sobre el altar la sangre de los sacrificios de comunión.
