27 En el d铆a veintisiete del mes duod茅cimo del a帽o treinta y siete del exilio de Joaqu铆n, rey de Jud谩, Evil Merodac, rey de Babilonia, en el a帽o primero de su reinado, sac贸 a Joaqu铆n de la c谩rcel.
28 Lo trat贸 amablemente y le dio una posici贸n m谩s alta que la de los otros reyes que estaban con 茅l en Babilonia.
29 Joaqu铆n dej贸 su ropa de prisionero, y por el resto de su vida comi贸 a la mesa del rey.
