28 SEÑOR mi Dios, tú que le has prometido tanta bondad a tu siervo, ¡tú eres Dios, y tus promesas son fieles!

2 Samuel 7:28

And now, O Lord God, thou [art] that God
Who is the Lord of hosts, and the God of Israel, that has promised and is able to perform, and is faithful to his promise:

and thy words be true;
are truly, punctually, and faithfully performed, never fail:

and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant;
concerning building and establishing his house. David repeats this promise as being greatly affected with it, and fully assured of the performance of it.

26 para que tu nombre sea siempre exaltado, y para que todos digan: “¡El SEÑORTodopoderoso es Dios de Israel!” Entonces la dinastía de tu siervo David quedará establecida en tu presencia.
27 »SEÑOR Todopoderoso, Dios de Israel, tú le has revelado a tu siervo el propósito de establecerle una dinastía, y por eso tu siervo se ha atrevido a hacerte esta súplica.
28 SEÑOR mi Dios, tú que le has prometido tanta bondad a tu siervo, ¡tú eres Dios, y tus promesas son fieles!
29 Dígnate entonces bendecir a la familia de tu siervo, de modo que bajo tu protección exista para siempre, pues tú mismo, SEÑOR omnipotente, lo has prometido. Si tú bendices a la dinastía de tu siervo, quedará bendita para siempre».
