Revelation 10:5

And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the
earth
His right foot being on the one, and his left foot upon the other, as described in ( Revelation 10:2 ) ;

lifted up his hand to heaven;
the Oriental versions read, "his right hand"; and so some copies, and the Complutensian edition: the man clothed in linen, ( Daniel 12:6 Daniel 12:7 ) , who is the same with the angel here, held up both his hands; the lifting up of the hand was a gesture used in swearing: see ( Genesis 14:22 ) ; so the Jews say ^F15, "the right hand", or by the right hand, (hewby wz) , "this is an oath", according to ( Daniel 12:7 ) ; or whether the right hand or the left, is an oath, according to ( Isaiah 62:8 ) .

3 y dio un grito tan fuerte que parecía el rugido de un león. Entonces los siete truenos levantaron también sus voces.

4 Una vez que hablaron los siete truenos, estaba yo por escribir, pero oí una voz del cielo que me decía: «Guarda en secreto lo que han dicho los siete truenos, y no lo escribas».

5 El ángel que yo había visto de pie sobre el mar y sobre la tierra levantó al cielo su mano derecha

6 y juró por el que vive por los siglos de los siglos, el que creó el cielo, la tierra, el mar y todo lo que hay en ellos, y dijo: «¡El tiempo ha terminado!

7 En los días en que hable el séptimo ángel, cuando comience a tocar su trompeta, se cumplirá el designio secreto de Dios, tal y como lo anunció a sus siervos los profetas».
