Deuteronomy 26:6

And the Egyptians evil entreated us
Ordered their male children to be killed by the midwives, and by another edict to be drowned by the people:

and afflicted us;
by setting taskmasters over them, who put heavy burdens upon them:

and laid upon us hard bondage;
in mortar and brick, and all manner of field service, in which they made them serve with rigour, and whereby their lives were made bitter; see ( Exodus 1:9-22 ) .

4 禄El sacerdote tomar谩 de tus manos la canasta y la pondr谩 frente al altar del SE脩OR tu Dios.
5 Entonces t煤 declarar谩s ante el SE脩OR tu Dios:鈥淢i padre fue un arameo errante, y descendi贸 a Egipto con poca gente. Vivi贸 all铆 hasta llegar a ser una gran naci贸n, fuerte y numerosa.
6 Pero los egipcios nos maltrataron, nos hicieron sufrir y nos sometieron a trabajos forzados.
7 Nosotros clamamos al SE脩OR, el Dios de nuestros padres, y 茅l escuch贸 nuestro ruego y vio la miseria, el trabajo y la opresi贸n que nos hab铆an impuesto.
8 Por eso el SE脩OR nos sac贸 de Egipto con actos portentosos y gran despliegue de poder, con se帽ales, prodigios y milagros que provocaron gran terror.
