Deuteronomy 31:15

And the Lord appeared in the tabernacle in a pillar of cloud,
&c.] As he was wont to do, see ( Exodus 33:9 ) ; in which cloud there was a lustre, a brightness, a glory visible, which showed that he was there:

and the pillar of the cloud stood over the door of the tabernacle;
it seems to have appeared first in the tabernacle, and then it came out of it, and stood over the door of it, near to which Moses and Joshua were: the Targum of Jonathan adds,

``Moses and Joshua stood without;''

though the former clause, according to Noldius ^F2, should be "over the tabernacle", or above where the cloud was wont to be.

13 Y los descendientes de ellos, para quienes esta ley será desconocida, la oirán y aprenderán a temer al SEÑOR tu Dios mientras vivan en el territorio que vas a poseer al otro lado del Jordán».

14 El SEÑOR le dijo a Moisés: «Ya se acerca el día de tu muerte. Llama a Josué, y preséntate con él en la Tienda de reunión para que reciba mis órdenes».Fue así como Moisés y Josué se presentaron allí.

15 Entonces el SEÑOR se apareció a la entrada de la Tienda de reunión, en una columna de nube,

16 y le dijo a Moisés: «Tú irás a descansar con tus antepasados, y muy pronto esta gente me será infiel con los dioses extraños del territorio al que van a entrar. Me rechazarán y quebrantarán el pacto que hice con ellos.

17 Cuando esto haya sucedido, se encenderá mi ira contra ellos y los abandonaré; ocultaré mi rostro, y serán presa fácil. Entonces les sobrevendrán muchos desastres y adversidades, y se preguntarán: “¿No es verdad que todos estos desastres nos han sobrevenido porque nuestro Dios ya no está con nosotros?”
