Esdras 8:35

35 Luego, en honor del SEÑOR, Dios de Israel, los que habían regresado del cautiverio ofrecieron, en holocausto y como ofrenda de expiación por todo el pueblo, doce novillos, noventa y seis carneros, setenta y siete corderos y doce chivos.

Ezra 8:35

Also the children of those that had been carried away, which
were come out of the captivity
Namely, those that now came along with Ezra:

offered
burnt offerings unto the God of Israel;
by way of thankfulness for their deliverance from captivity, and for their safe journey:

twelve bullocks for all Israel:
according to the number of the tribes; and there might be some of every tribe that now came up:

ninety and six rams, seventy and seven lambs;
these and the bullocks were burnt offerings:

twelve he goats for a sin offering;
according to the number of the twelve tribes, also to make atonement for sins they had been guilty of:

all this was a burnt offering unto the Lord;
excepting the twelve he goats, which were a sin offering.

33 Al cuarto día pesamos la plata, el oro y los utensilios en el templo de nuestro Dios, y entregamos todo al sacerdote Meremot hijo de Urías. Eleazar hijo de Finés estaba allí con él, lo mismo que los levitas Jozabad hijo de Jesúa, y Noadías hijo de Binuy.

34 Ese día pesamos y contamos todo, y registramos el peso total.

35 Luego, en honor del SEÑOR, Dios de Israel, los que habían regresado del cautiverio ofrecieron, en holocausto y como ofrenda de expiación por todo el pueblo, doce novillos, noventa y seis carneros, setenta y siete corderos y doce chivos.

36 Y se les entregaron los decretos del rey a los sátrapas del reino y a los gobernadores de la provincia al oeste del río Éufrates, los cuales prestaron todo su apoyo al pueblo y al templo de Dios.
