And the word of the Lord came unto me again, saying.
] The word of prophecy from the Lord, as the Targum; and its being mentioned is coming from the Lord is to give it weight and authority. This is a distinct sermon or prophecy from the former, and was sent and delivered out at another time.

1 El SEÑOR me dirigió la palabra:
2 «¿A qué viene tanta repetición de este proverbio tan conocido en Israel: “Los padres comieron uvas agrias, y a los hijos se les destemplaron los dientes?”
3 Yo, el SEÑOR omnipotente, juro por mí mismo que jamás se volverá a repetir este proverbio en Israel.
4 La persona que peque morirá. Sepan que todas las vidas me pertenecen, tanto la del padre como la del hijo.
5 »Quien es justo practica el derecho y la justicia;
