18 Luego el hombre me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, así dice el SEÑOR omnipotente: El día que se construya el altar para ofrecer los holocaustos y para derramar la sangre, se deberán seguir estas normas:

Ezekiel 43:18

And he said unto me, son of man, thus saith the Lord God
This is the voice of the Lord continued, speaking out of the house to the prophet; see ( Ezekiel 43:6 ) : these are the ordinances of the altar:
not what go before, concerning the measures of it, but what follow, concerning the sacrifices to be offered on it: in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon,
and sprinkle blood thereon;
this plainly shows that this altar is the altar of burnt offerings; such were to be offered on it, and the blood of them to be sprinkled thereon, as follows; that is, upon the horns, corners, and border of it, ( Ezekiel 43:20 ) .

16 El fogón del altar era un cuadrado perfecto de seis metros de largo por seis de ancho.

17 El zócalo superior también era un cuadrado de siete metros de largo por siete de ancho, y alrededor de todo el altar había un reborde de veinticinco centímetros. La fosa alrededor del altar tenía medio metro de ancho. Las gradas del altar daban al oriente.

19 A los sacerdotes levitas descendientes de Sadoc que se acercan para servirme les darás un ternero para que lo ofrezcan como sacrificio por el pecado. Lo afirma el SEÑOR omnipotente.

20 Luego tomarás un poco de la sangre, y con ella rociarás los cuatro cuernos, las cuatro esquinas del zócalo superior y todo el reborde que lo rodea. Así lo purificarás y harás expiación por él.
