Genesis 27:32

And Isaac his father said unto him, who [art] thou?
&c.] Hearing another voice more like Esau's than what he had heard before surprised him, and therefore in haste puts this question: and he said, I [am] thy son, thy firstborn Esau;
all which was true in a sense; he was his son, and he was Esau, and he was his firstborn by nature, but not by right, for he had sold his birthright.

30 No bien había terminado Isaac de bendecir a Jacob, y este de salir de la presencia de su padre, cuando Esaú volvió de cazar.

31 También él preparó un guiso, se lo llevó a su padre y le dijo:—Levántate, padre mío, y come de lo que ha cazado tu hijo. Luego podrás darme tu bendición.

32 Pero Isaac lo interrumpió:—¿Quién eres tú?—Soy Esaú, tu hijo primogénito —respondió.

33 Isaac comenzó a temblar y, muy sobresaltado, dijo:—¿Quién fue el que ya me trajo lo que había cazado? Poco antes de que llegaras, yo me lo comí todo. Le di mi bendición, y bendecido quedará.

34 Al escuchar Esaú las palabras de su padre, lanzó un grito aterrador y, lleno de amargura, le dijo:—¡Padre mío, te ruego que también a mí me bendigas!
