Genesis 27:8

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice
Hearken to what I am about to say, and do according to that which I command thee, in every particular;
she required of him filial obedience to all that she enjoined him; which, though not difficult to be performed, she was aware Jacob would make objections to, as he did; and therefore she is so pressing and peremptory in her injunctions, as well knowing it was respecting an affair of the greatest moment and importance.

6 ella le dijo a su hijo Jacob:—Según acabo de escuchar, tu padre le ha pedido a tu hermano Esaú
7 que cace un animal y se lo traiga para hacerle un guiso como a él le gusta. También le ha prometido que antes de morirse lo va a bendecir, poniendo al SEÑOR como testigo.
8 Ahora bien, hijo mío, escúchame bien, y haz lo que te mando.
9 Ve al rebaño y tráeme de allí dos de los mejores cabritos, para que yo le prepare a tu padre un guiso como a él le gusta.
10 Tú se lo llevarás para que se lo coma, y así él te dará su bendición antes de morirse.
