Jeremías 11:7

7 Desde el día en que hice salir a sus antepasados de la tierra de Egipto hasta el día de hoy, una y otra vez les he advertido: ‘Obedézcanme’.

Jeremiah 11:7

For I earnestly protested unto your fathers
Or "witnessing, witnessed" ^F7; testified his great affection for them; importunately solicited their observation of his precepts for their good; and strictly cautioned them against neglect and disobedience: the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt;

voice;
that is, from the time of the giving of the law, in all successive ages, to the present time, he had sent his prophets to them, time after time, morning by morning, early and late, to press, exhort, and stir them up to an obedience to his will, and to warn them of the evils that would come by disobedience to it.

5 Así cumpliré el juramento que les hice a sus antepasados, de darles una tierra donde abundan la leche y la miel, como la que hoy tienen ustedes”».Yo respondí: «Amén, SEÑOR».

6 El SEÑOR me dijo: «Proclama todo esto en las ciudades de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalén, diciendo: “Escuchen los términos de este pacto, y cúmplanlos.

7 Desde el día en que hice salir a sus antepasados de la tierra de Egipto hasta el día de hoy, una y otra vez les he advertido: ‘Obedézcanme’.

8 Pero no obedecieron ni prestaron atención, sino que siguieron la terquedad de su malvado corazón. Por eso hice caer sobre ellos todo el peso de las palabras de este pacto, que yo les había ordenado cumplir, pero que no cumplieron”».

9 El SEÑOR también me dijo: «Se está fraguando una conspiración entre los hombres de Judá y los habitantes de Jerusalén.
