Jeremías 26:13

13 Así que enmienden ya su conducta y sus acciones, y obedezcan al SEÑOR su Dios, y el SEÑOR se arrepentirá del mal que les ha anunciado.

Jeremiah 26:13

Therefore now amend your ways and your doings
Make them good; leave your evil ways, and walk in good ways; forsake your evil works, and do good works: and obey the voice of the Lord your God;
and that because he is your God, as well as what his word directs to is good, and for your good: and the Lord will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced
against you;
will do as men do when they repent, change their method of acting, and manner of behaviour; so the Lord is said to repent or turn, when he changes the method and conduct of his providence towards men, though he never changes his mind or counsel.

11 Allí los sacerdotes y los profetas dijeron a los jefes y a todo el pueblo: «Este hombre debe ser condenado a muerte, porque ha profetizado contra esta ciudad, tal como ustedes lo han escuchado con sus propios oídos».

12 Pero Jeremías les dijo a todos los jefes y a todo el pueblo: «El SEÑOR me envió para profetizar contra esta casa y contra esta ciudad todas las cosas que ustedes han escuchado.

13 Así que enmienden ya su conducta y sus acciones, y obedezcan al SEÑOR su Dios, y el SEÑOR se arrepentirá del mal que les ha anunciado.

14 En cuanto a mí, estoy en manos de ustedes; hagan conmigo lo que mejor les parezca.

15 Pero sepan que si ustedes me matan, estarán derramando sangre inocente sobre ustedes mismos y sobre los habitantes de esta ciudad. Lo cierto es que el SEÑOR me ha enviado a que les anuncie claramente todas estas cosas».
