Jeremiah 32:10

And I subscribed the evidence
Or, "wrote in a book" ^F21; the instrument or bill of sale, the deed of purchase; which described the field sold, and expressed the condition on which the purchase was made; and by subscribing it he agreed to it, and laid himself under obligation to perform it: and sealed [it];
for the further confirmation of it: and took witnesses;
to be present at the payment of the money, and to sign the deed likewise: and weighed [him] the money in the balances;
this he did a second time; he weighed it first before Hanameel himself, and then before the witnesses; everything was done fairly, and with great exactness.

8 »En efecto, conforme a la palabra del SEÑOR, mi primo Janamel vino a verme en el patio de la guardia y me dijo: “Compra ahora mi campo que está en Anatot, en el territorio de Benjamín, ya que tú tienes el derecho y la responsabilidad de comprarlo por ser el pariente más cercano”. Entonces comprendí que esto era palabra del SEÑOR,

9 y le compré a mi primo Janamel el campo de Anatot por diecisiete monedas de plata.

10 Reuní a los testigos, firmé la escritura, la sellé, y pagué el precio convenido.

11 Luego tomé la copia sellada y la copia abierta de la escritura con las condiciones de compra,

12 y se las entregué a Baruc, hijo de Nerías y nieto de Maseías, en presencia de Janamel, de los testigos que habían firmado la escritura, y de todos los judíos que estaban sentados en el patio de la guardia.
