Thus the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans
By the sword, or by the arrows and darts of the Medes and Persians: and [they that are] thrust through in her streets;
either by the one or by the other, especially the latter, since they only are mentioned; (See Gill on Jeremiah 50:30).

3 Que no tense el arquero su arco,ni se vista la coraza.No perdonen a sus jóvenes;destruyan a su ejército por completo.

5 Aunque Israel y Judá están llenos de culpadelante del Santo de Israel,no han sido abandonados por su Dios,el SEÑORTodopoderoso.

6 »¡Huyan de Babilonia!¡Sálvese quien pueda!No perezcan por causa de su iniquidad.Porque ha llegado la horade que el SEÑOR tome venganza;¡él le dará su merecido!
