Judges 3:17

And he brought a present unto Eglon king of Moab
Accompanied by two servants, as Josephus says F2, and who doubtless bore the presents; for that there were such with him that did is clear from ( Judges 3:18 ) ; nor can it be thought that so great a personage as a judge in Israel should go alone and carry a present in his own hands; though it is possible, when come to the king of Moab, he might take it from his servants, and deliver it to him with his own hands:

and Eglon [was] a very fat man:
and so the less active, and unable to decline and avoid the stroke, he might see, when about to be given him.

15 Los israelitas volvieron a clamar al SE脩OR, y el SE脩OR les levant贸 un libertador, Aod hijo de Guer谩, de la tribu de Benjam铆n, quien era zurdo. Por medio de 茅l los israelitas enviaron tributo a Egl贸n, rey de Moab.
16 Aod se hab铆a hecho un pu帽al de doble filo como de 30 cent铆metros de largo, la cual sujet贸 a su muslo derecho por debajo de la ropa.
17 Le present贸 el tributo a Egl贸n, rey de Moab, que era muy gordo.
18 Cuando Aod termin贸 de present谩rselo, se fue a despedir a los hombres que hab铆an transportado el tributo.
19 Pero luego se regres贸 desde las canteras que estaban cerca de Guilgal, y dijo:鈥擬ajestad, tengo un mensaje secreto para usted.鈥斅ilencio! 鈥攐rden贸 el rey.Y todos sus servidores se retiraron de su presencia.
