Zechariah 3:6

And the Angel of the Lord protested unto Joshua, saying.
] He not only gave his word, but annexed his oath; he called as it were heaven and earth to witness; and this he did to confirm the faith of Joshua in the promises he was about to make, as well as in the blessings of grace bestowed upon him; as the pardon of his sins, the justification of his person, and acceptance with God.

4 Así que el ángel les dijo a los que estaban allí, dispuestos a servirle: «¡Quítenle las ropas sucias!» Y a Josué le dijo: «Como puedes ver, ya te he liberado de tu culpa, y ahora voy a vestirte con ropas espléndidas».

5 Entonces dije yo: «¡Pónganle también un turbante limpio en la cabeza!» Y le pusieron en la cabeza un turbante limpio, y lo vistieron, mientras el ángel del SEÑOR permanecía de pie.

6 Luego el ángel del SEÑOR le hizo esta advertencia a Josué:

7 «Así dice el SEÑORTodopoderoso:»“Si andas en mis caminosy me cumples como sacerdote,entonces gobernarás mi temploy te harás cargo de mis atrios.¡Yo te concederé un lugarentre estos que están aquí!

8 »”Escucha, Josué, sumo sacerdote,y que lo oigan tus compañeros,que se sientan en tu presenciay que son un buen presagio:Estoy por traer a mi siervo,estoy por traer al Renuevo.
