Deuteronomy 28:60

Moreover, he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt,
&c.] All that in a way of judgment were brought upon the Egyptians for refusing to let Israel go; or all such diseases as were peculiar to them, and common among them, as the leprosy, the itch, ulcers

which thou wast afraid of;
when living among them, lest they should catch them of them, or they should be inflicted on them by the hand of God:

and they shall cleave unto thee;
not only should come upon them, but continue with them; they should not easily get rid of them, or be cured of them.

58 “Se vocĂȘs nĂŁo seguirem fielmente todas as palavras desta lei, escritas neste livro, e nĂŁo temerem este nome glorioso e terrĂ­vel, o SENHOR, o seu Deus,
59 ele enviarĂĄ pestes terrĂ­veis sobre vocĂȘs e sobre os seus descendentes, desgraças horrĂ­veis e prolongadas, doenças graves e persistentes.
60 Ele trarĂĄ sobre vocĂȘs todas as temĂ­veis doenças do Egito, e vocĂȘs as contrairĂŁo.
61 O SENHOR tambĂ©m farĂĄ vir sobre vocĂȘs todo tipo de enfermidade e desgraça nĂŁo registradas neste Livro da Lei, atĂ© que sejam destruĂ­dos.
62 VocĂȘs, que no passado foram tantos quanto as estrelas do cĂ©u, ficarĂŁo reduzidos a um pequeno nĂșmero, porque nĂŁo obedeceram ao SENHOR, o seu Deus.
