28 Apoderaram-se das ovelhas, dos bois e dos jumentos, e de tudo o que havia na cidade e no campo.

Genesis 34:28

They took their sheep, their oxen, and their asses
The Shechemites hoped to have the cattle and substance of Jacob's family, and in a hypocritical manner submitted to circumcision, for the sake of worldly advantage; for that, and pleasing their prince, seem to be the only views they had in it; wherefore, in this there is a just retaliation of them in Providence:

and that which [was] in the city, and that which [was] in the field;
the cattle that were kept at home, and those that were brought up in the field, all became a prey.

27 Vieram então os outros filhos de Jacó e, passando pelos corpos, saquearam a cidade onde sua irmã tinha sido desonrada.

28 Apoderaram-se das ovelhas, dos bois e dos jumentos, e de tudo o que havia na cidade e no campo.

29 Levaram as mulheres e as crianças, e saquearam todos os bens e tudo o que havia nas casas.

30 Então Jacó disse a Simeão e a Levi: “Vocês me puseram em grandes apuros, atraindo sobre mim o ódio dos cananeus e dos ferezeus, habitantes desta terra. Somos poucos, e, se eles juntarem suas forças e nos atacarem, eu e a minha família seremos destruídos”.
