Job 40:1

Moreover the Lord answered Job
The Lord having discoursed largely of the works of nature, in order to reconcile the mind of Job to his works of providence, stopped and made a pause for a little space, that Job might answer if he thought fit; but he being entirely silent, the Lord began again:

and said;
as follows:

1 Disse ainda o SENHOR a Jó:
2 “Aquele que contende com o Todo-poderoso poderá repreendê-lo?Que responda a Deus aquele que o acusa!”
3 Então Jó respondeu ao SENHOR:
4 “Sou indigno; como posso responder-te?Ponho a mão sobre a minha boca.
5 Falei uma vez, mas não tenho resposta;sim, duas vezes, mas não direi mais nada”.
