Zechariah 8:17

And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against
his neighbour (See Gill on Zechariah 7:10) hatred without a cause was a governing vice under the second temple, and Jarchi says was the cause of the destruction of it; see ( John 15:25 ) : and love no false oath;
whereby the character and property of a fellow creature are hurt; nor any vain one, which the Jews were addicted to, ( Matthew 5:34 Matthew 5:35 ) : for all these [are things] that I hate, saith the Lord;
as being contrary to his nature, and to his law; and is a reason why they should be hated and avoided by men.

15 “também agora decidi fazer de novo o bem a Jerusalém e a Judá. Não tenham medo!

16 Eis o que devem fazer: Falem somente a verdade uns com os outros e julguem retamente em seus tribunais;

17 não planejem no íntimo o mal contra o seu próximo e não queiram jurar com falsidade. Porque eu odeio todas essas coisas”, declara o SENHOR.

18 Mais uma vez veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR dos Exércitos.

19 Assim diz o SENHOR dos Exércitos:“Os jejuns do quarto mês, bem como os do quinto, do sétimo e do décimo mês serão ocasiões alegres e cheias de júbilo, festas felizes para o povo de Judá. Por isso amem a verdade e a paz”.
