Vayikra 25:19

19 And HaAretz shall yield her pri, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.

Vayikra 25:19 Meaning and Commentary

Leviticus 25:19

And the land shall yield her fruit
That is, continually, and even in the seventh year, the sabbath of rest; for the land, though not manured, ploughed, and sowed, nor the vines, olives, and fig trees pruned, yet shall yield fruit as in other years, the Israelites observing the statutes and judgments of God: and ye shall eat your fill;
feel no want of provisions, but have fulness of everything as at other times, and never make a scanty meal, having sufficiency and plenty of all things: and dwell therein in safety;
not fearing enemies, nor being disturbed by them, nor carried captive.

Vayikra 25:19 In-Context

17 Ye shall not therefore take advantage of one another; but thou shalt fear Eloheicha: for I am Hashem Eloheichem.
18 Wherefore ye shall do My chukkot, and be shomer over My mishpatim, and do them; and ye shall dwell in HaAretz in safety.
19 And HaAretz shall yield her pri, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.
20 And if ye shall say, What shall we eat in the shanah hashevi’it? Behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our tevuah;
21 Then I will command Birkhati (My Blessing) upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth the tevuah for shalosh hashanim.
