When the tzaddik turneth from his tzedakah, and committeth evil, he shall even die thereby.

But if the rashah turn from his resha, and do that which is mishpat and tzedakah, he shall live thereby.

Yet ye say, The Derech Adonoi is not proper. O ye Bais Yisroel, I will judge you every one according to his drakhim.

And it came to pass in the twelfth shanah of our Golus, in the tenth month, on the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Yerushalayim came unto me, saying, The Ir (City, Jerusalem) has fallen [see Ezek. 24:26].
