Job 40:1

Moreover the Lord answered Job
The Lord having discoursed largely of the works of nature, in order to reconcile the mind of Job to his works of providence, stopped and made a pause for a little space, that Job might answer if he thought fit; but he being entirely silent, the Lord began again:

and said;
as follows:

1 Et l'Éternel répondit à Job du sein de la tempête, et dit:
2 Ceins tes reins, comme un vaillant homme; je t'interrogerai, et tu m'instruiras.
3 Est-ce que tu voudrais anéantir ma justice? me condamner pour te justifier?
4 As-tu un bras comme celui de Dieu; tonnes-tu de la voix, comme lui?
5 Pare-toi donc de magnificence et de grandeur; et revêts-toi de majesté et de gloire.
