NIV 43 These were the kings who reigned in Edom before any Israelite king reigned: Bela son of Beor, whose city was named Dinhabah. CJB 44 After Bela died, Yovav the son of Zerach from Botzrah took his place as king. NIV 44 When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah succeeded him as king. CJB 45 After Yovav died, Husham from the land of the Temani took his place as king. NIV 45 When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites succeeded him as king. CJB 46 After Husham died, Hadad the son of B'dad, who attacked Midyan on the plains of Mo'av, took his place as king; the name of his city was 'Avit. NIV 46 When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the country of Moab, succeeded him as king. His city was named Avith. CJB 47 After Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah took his place as king. NIV 47 When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah succeeded him as king. CJB 48 After Samlah died, Sha'ul from Rechovot-by-the-River took his place as king. NIV 48 When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the river succeeded him as king. CJB 49 After Sha'ul died, Ba'al-Hanan the son of 'Akhbor took his place as king. NIV 49 When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan son of Akbor succeeded him as king. CJB 50 After Ba'al-Hanan died, Hadad took his place as king; the name of his city was Pa'i; his wife's name was M'heitav'el the daughter of Matred the daughter of Mei-Zahav. NIV 50 When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad succeeded him as king. His city was named Pau, and his wife’s name was Mehetabel daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-Zahab. CJB 51 Then Hadad died. The chieftains of Edom were: the chieftains of Timnah, 'Alvah, Y'tet, NIV 51 Hadad also died. The chiefs of Edom were: Timna, Alvah, Jetheth, CJB 52 Oholivamah, Elah, Pinon, NIV 52 Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon, CJB 53 Kenaz, Teman, Mivtzar, NIV 53 Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar, CJB 54 Magdi'el and 'Iram. These were the chieftains of Edom. NIV 54 Magdiel and Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.
