1 Corinthians 3:7-17

KJV 7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. NIV 7 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. KJV 8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. NIV 8 The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. KJV 9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building. NIV 9 For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. KJV 10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. NIV 10 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. KJV 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. NIV 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. KJV 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; NIV 12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, KJV 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. NIV 13 their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. KJV 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. NIV 14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. KJV 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. NIV 15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames. KJV 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? NIV 16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? KJV 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. NIV 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.
