2 Timothy 1:3-7

CSB 3 I thank God, whom I serve with a clear conscience as my forefathers did, when I constantly remember you in my prayers night and day. NIV 3 I thank God, whom I serve, as my ancestors did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers. CSB 4 Remembering your tears, I long to see you so that I may be filled with joy, NIV 4 Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy. CSB 5 clearly recalling your sincere faith that first lived in your grandmother Lois, then in your mother Eunice, and that I am convinced is in you also. NIV 5 I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also. CSB 6 Therefore, I remind you to keep ablaze the gift of God that is in you through the laying on of my hands. NIV 6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. CSB 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, love, and sound judgment. NIV 7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
