CEB 14 But you must continue with the things you have learned and found convincing. You know who taught you. NRS 3 For the time is coming when people will not put up with sound doctrine, but having itching ears, they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own desires, CEB 4 They will turn their back on the truth and turn to myths. NRS 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander away to myths. CEB 5 But you must keep control of yourself in all circumstances. Endure suffering, do the work of a preacher of the good news, and carry out your service fully. NRS 5 As for you, always be sober, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, carry out your ministry fully.
