Exodus 38

LEB 1 And he made the burnt-offering altar of acacia wood; its length [was] five cubits, and its width [was] five cubits--[it was] square--and its height [was] three cubits. NIV 1 They built the altar of burnt offering of acacia wood, three cubits high; it was square, five cubits long and five cubits wide. LEB 2 And he made its horns on its four corners; its horns were {of one piece with it}; and he overlaid it [with] bronze. NIV 2 They made a horn at each of the four corners, so that the horns and the altar were of one piece, and they overlaid the altar with bronze. LEB 3 And he made all the equipment of the altar--the pots and the shovels and the sprinkling bowls and the forks and the fire pans--all its equipment he made [with] bronze. NIV 3 They made all its utensils of bronze—its pots, shovels, sprinkling bowls, meat forks and firepans. LEB 4 And he made for the altar a grating, a work of bronze network under its ledge, below, up to its middle. NIV 4 They made a grating for the altar, a bronze network, to be under its ledge, halfway up the altar. LEB 5 And he cast four rings on the four ends of the bronze grating [as] {holders} for the poles. NIV 5 They cast bronze rings to hold the poles for the four corners of the bronze grating. LEB 6 And he made the poles of acacia wood, and he overlaid them [with] bronze. NIV 6 They made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with bronze. LEB 7 And he put the poles into the rings on the sides of the altar to carry it with them. He made it hollow with boards. NIV 7 They inserted the poles into the rings so they would be on the sides of the altar for carrying it. They made it hollow, out of boards. LEB 8 And he made the basin of bronze and its stand of bronze from the mirrors of the serving women who served [at] the entrance of the tent of assembly. NIV 8 They made the bronze basin and its bronze stand from the mirrors of the women who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting. LEB 9 And he made the courtyard; for the south side [were] the hangings of the court of finely twisted linen, one hundred cubits, NIV 9 Next they made the courtyard. The south side was a hundred cubits long and had curtains of finely twisted linen, LEB 10 [with] their twenty pillars and their twenty bases of bronze [and with] the hooks of the pillars and their bands of silver. NIV 10 with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases, and with silver hooks and bands on the posts. LEB 11 And for the north side [the hangings were] one hundred cubits [with] their twenty pillars and their twenty bases of bronze [and with] the hooks of the pillars and their bands of silver. NIV 11 The north side was also a hundred cubits long and had twenty posts and twenty bronze bases, with silver hooks and bands on the posts. LEB 12 And for the {west} side fifty cubits [of] hangings [with] their ten pillars and their ten bases [and with] the hooks of the pillars and their bands of silver. NIV 17 The bases for the posts were bronze. The hooks and bands on the posts were silver, and their tops were overlaid with silver; so all the posts of the courtyard had silver bands. LEB 18 And the screen of the gate of the courtyard [was] the work of an embroiderer, [with] blue and purple and crimson [yarns] and finely twisted linen; [it was] twenty cubits long and five cubits {high}, like the hangings of the courtyard, NIV 18 The curtain for the entrance to the courtyard was made of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen—the work of an embroiderer.
