LXX 1 And these the kings of the land, whom the children of Israel slew, and inherited their land beyond Jordan from the east, from the valley of Arnon to the mount of Aermon, and all the land of Araba on the east. NIV 1 These are the kings of the land whom the Israelites had defeated and whose territory they took over east of the Jordan, from the Arnon Gorge to Mount Hermon, including all the eastern side of the Arabah: LXX 2 Seon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Esebon, ruling from Arnon, which is in the valley, on the side of the valley, and half of Galaad as far as Jaboc, the borders of the children of Ammon. This included half of Gilead. LXX 3 And Araba as far as the sea of Chenereth eastward, and as far as the sea of Araba; the salt sea eastward the way to Asimoth, from Thaeman under Asedoth Phasga. NIV 3 He also ruled over the eastern Arabah from the Sea of Galilee to the Sea of the Arabah (that is, the Dead Sea), to Beth Jeshimoth, and then southward below the slopes of Pisgah. LXX 4 And Og king of Basan, who dwelt in Astaroth and in Edrain, was left of the giants NIV 4 And the territory of Og king of Bashan, one of the last of the Rephaites, who reigned in Ashtaroth and Edrei. LXX 5 ruling from mount Aermon and from Secchai, and all the land of Basan to the borders of Gergesi, and Machi, and the half of Galaad of the borders of Seon king of Esebon. LXX 7 And these the kings of the Amorites, whom Joshua and the children of Israel slew beyond Jordan by the sea of Balagad in the plain of Libanus, and as far as the mountain of Chelcha, as men go up to Seir: and Joshua gave it to the tribes of Israel to inherit according to their portion; NIV 7 Here is a list of the kings of the land that Joshua and the Israelites conquered on the west side of the Jordan, from Baal Gad in the Valley of Lebanon to Mount Halak, which rises toward Seir. Joshua gave their lands as an inheritance to the tribes of Israel according to their tribal divisions. LXX 8 in the mountain, and in the plain, and in Araba, and in Asedoth, and in the wilderness, and Nageb; the Chettite, and the Amorite, and the Chananite, and the Pherezite, and the Evite, and the Jebusite. NIV 8 The lands included the hill country, the western foothills, the Arabah, the mountain slopes, the wilderness and the Negev. These were the lands of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. These were the kings: LXX 9 The king of Jericho, and the king of Gai, which is near Baethel; NIV 9 the king of Jericho: one; the king of Ai(near Bethel): one; LXX 10 the king of Jerusalem, the king of Chebron, NIV 10 the king of Jerusalem: one; the king of Hebron: one; LXX 11 the king of Jerimuth, the king of Lachis; NIV 11 the king of Jarmuth: one; the king of Lachish: one; LXX 12 the king of Aelam, the king of Gazer; NIV 12 the king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one; LXX 13 the king of Dabir, the king of Gader: NIV 13 the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one; LXX 14 the king of Hermath, the king of Ader; NIV 14 the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one; LXX 15 the king of Lebna, the king of Odollam, NIV 15 the king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one; LXX 16 the king of Elath, NIV 16 the king of Makkedah, one; the king of Bethel, one; LXX 17 the king of Taphut, the king of Opher, NIV 17 the king of Tappuah, one; the king of Hepher, one; LXX 18 the king of Ophec of Aroc, NIV 18 the king of Aphek, one; the king of Lasharon, one; LXX 19 the king of Asom, NIV 19 the king of Madon, one; the king of Hazor, one; LXX 20 the king of Symoon, the king of Mambroth, the king of Aziph, NIV 20 the king of Shimron Meron, one; the king of Akshaph, one; LXX 21 the king of Cades, the king of Zachac, NIV 21 the king of Taanach, one; the king of Megiddo, one; LXX 22 the king of Maredoth, the king of Jecom of Chermel, NIV 22 the king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam in Carmel, one; LXX 23 the king of Odollam Phennealdor, the king of Gei of Galilee: NIV 23 the king of Dor (in Naphoth Dor), one; the king of Goyim in Gilgal, one; LXX 24 the king of Thersa: all these twenty-nine kings. NIV 24 the king of Tirzah, one; thirty-one kings in all.
