NIV 3 and gather the entire assembly at the entrance to the tent of meeting.” HNV 4 Moshe did as the LORD commanded him; and the congregation was assembled at the door of the Tent of Meeting. NIV 4 Moses did as the LORD commanded him, and the assembly gathered at the entrance to the tent of meeting. HNV 5 Moshe said to the congregation, "This is the thing which the LORD has commanded to be done." NIV 5 Moses said to the assembly, “This is what the LORD has commanded to be done.” HNV 6 Moshe brought Aharon and his sons, and washed them with water. NIV 6 Then Moses brought Aaron and his sons forward and washed them with water. HNV 7 He put the coat on him, tied the sash on him, clothed him with the robe, put the efod on him, and he tied the skillfully woven band of the efod on him, and fastened it to him with it. NIV 7 He put the tunic on Aaron, tied the sash around him, clothed him with the robe and put the ephod on him. He also fastened the ephod with a decorative waistband, which he tied around him. HNV 8 He placed the breastplate on him; and in the breastplate he put the Urim and the Tummim. NIV 8 He placed the breastpiece on him and put the Urim and Thummim in the breastpiece. HNV 9 He set the turban on his head; and on the turban, in front, he set the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moshe. NIV 9 Then he placed the turban on Aaron’s head and set the gold plate, the sacred emblem, on the front of it, as the LORD commanded Moses. HNV 10 Moshe took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and sanctified them. NIV 10 Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and everything in it, and so consecrated them. HNV 11 He sprinkled it on the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its vessels, and the basin and its base, to sanctify them. NIV 11 He sprinkled some of the oil on the altar seven times, anointing the altar and all its utensils and the basin with its stand, to consecrate them. HNV 12 He poured some of the anointing oil on Aharon's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him. NIV 12 He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him to consecrate him. HNV 13 Moshe brought Aharon's sons, and clothed them with coats, and tied sashes on them, and put headbands on them; as the LORD commanded Moshe. NIV 13 Then he brought Aaron’s sons forward, put tunics on them, tied sashes around them and fastened caps on them, as the LORD commanded Moses. HNV 14 He brought the bull of the sin offering, and Aharon and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering. NIV 14 He then presented the bull for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head. HNV 15 He killed it; and Moshe took the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement for it. NIV 15 Moses slaughtered the bull and took some of the blood, and with his finger he put it on all the horns of the altar to purify the altar. He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. So he consecrated it to make atonement for it. HNV 16 He took all the fat that was on the innards, and the cover of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat; and Moshe burned it on the altar. NIV 16 Moses also took all the fat around the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, and both kidneys and their fat, and burned it on the altar. HNV 17 But the bull, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung, he burned with fire outside the camp; as the LORD commanded Moshe. NIV 17 But the bull with its hide and its flesh and its intestines he burned up outside the camp, as the LORD commanded Moses. HNV 18 He presented the ram of the burnt offering: and Aharon and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram. NIV 18 He then presented the ram for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head. HNV 19 He killed it; and Moshe sprinkled the blood on the altar round about. NIV 19 Then Moses slaughtered the ram and splashed the blood against the sides of the altar. HNV 20 He cut the ram into its pieces; and Moshe burned the head, and the pieces, and the fat. NIV 20 He cut the ram into pieces and burned the head, the pieces and the fat. HNV 21 He washed the innards and the legs with water; and Moshe burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering for a sweet savor. It was an offering made by fire to the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moshe. NIV 21 He washed the internal organs and the legs with water and burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses. HNV 22 He presented the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aharon and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram. NIV 22 He then presented the other ram, the ram for the ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head. HNV 23 He killed it; and Moshe took some of its blood, and put it on the tip of Aharon's right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot. NIV 23 Moses slaughtered the ram and took some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron’s right ear, on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot. HNV 24 He brought Aharon's sons; and Moshe put some of the blood on the tip of their right ear, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the great toe of their right foot; and Moshe sprinkled the blood on the altar round about. NIV 24 Moses also brought Aaron’s sons forward and put some of the blood on the lobes of their right ears, on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet. Then he splashed blood against the sides of the altar. HNV 25 He took the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that was on the innards, and the cover of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right thigh; NIV 25 After that, he took the fat, the fat tail, all the fat around the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, both kidneys and their fat and the right thigh. HNV 26 and out of the basket of matzah, that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and placed them on the fat, and on the right thigh. NIV 26 And from the basket of bread made without yeast, which was before the LORD, he took one thick loaf, one thick loaf with olive oil mixed in, and one thin loaf, and he put these on the fat portions and on the right thigh. HNV 27 He put all these in Aharon's hands and in his sons' hands, and waved them for a wave offering before the LORD. NIV 27 He put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons, and they waved them before the LORD as a wave offering. HNV 28 Moshe took them from their hands, and burned them on the altar on the burnt offering. They were a consecration for a sweet savor. It was an offering made by fire to the LORD. NIV 28 Then Moses took them from their hands and burned them on the altar on top of the burnt offering as an ordination offering, a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the LORD. HNV 29 Moshe took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD. It was Moshe' portion of the ram of consecration, as the LORD commanded Moshe. NIV 29 Moses also took the breast, which was his share of the ordination ram, and waved it before the LORD as a wave offering, as the LORD commanded Moses. HNV 30 Moshe took some of the anointing oil, and some of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aharon, on his garments, and on his sons, and on his sons' garments with him, and sanctified Aharon, his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him. NIV 30 Then Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood from the altar and sprinkled them on Aaron and his garments and on his sons and their garments. So he consecrated Aaron and his garments and his sons and their garments. HNV 31 Moshe said to Aharon and to his sons, "Boil the flesh at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of consecration, as I commanded, saying, 'Aharon and his sons shall eat it.' NIV 31 Moses then said to Aaron and his sons, “Cook the meat at the entrance to the tent of meeting and eat it there with the bread from the basket of ordination offerings, as I was commanded: ‘Aaron and his sons are to eat it.’ HNV 32 What remains of the flesh and of the bread you shall burn with fire. NIV 32 Then burn up the rest of the meat and the bread. HNV 33 You shall not go out from the door of The tent of Meeting seven days, until the days of your consecration are fulfilled: for he shall consecrate you seven days. NIV 33 Do not leave the entrance to the tent of meeting for seven days, until the days of your ordination are completed, for your ordination will last seven days. HNV 34 What has been done this day, so the LORD has commanded to do, to make atonement for you. NIV 34 What has been done today was commanded by the LORD to make atonement for you. HNV 35 At the door of the Tent of Meeting you shall stay day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that you don't die: for so I am commanded." NIV 35 You must stay at the entrance to the tent of meeting day and night for seven days and do what the LORD requires, so you will not die; for that is what I have been commanded.” HNV 36 Aharon and his sons did all the things which the LORD commanded by Moshe. NIV 36 So Aaron and his sons did everything the LORD commanded through Moses.
