NIV 1 As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!” NRS 1 As he came out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, "Look, Teacher, what large stones and what large buildings!" NIV 2 “Do you see all these great buildings?” replied Jesus. “Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.” NRS 2 Then Jesus asked him, "Do you see these great buildings? NIV 24 “But in those days, following that distress, “ ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; NRS 24 "But in those days, after that suffering, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, NIV 25 the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ NRS 25 and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.
