Matthew 9:21-38

NKJV 21 For she said to herself, "If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well." NIV 21 She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.” NKJV 22 But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, "Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well." And the woman was made well from that hour. NIV 22 Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment. NKJV 23 When Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing, NIV 23 When Jesus entered the synagogue leader’s house and saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes, NKJV 24 He said to them, "Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping." And they ridiculed Him. NIV 24 he said, “Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep.” But they laughed at him. NKJV 25 But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. NIV 25 After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up. NKJV 26 And the report of this went out into all that land. NIV 26 News of this spread through all that region. NKJV 27 When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, "Son of David, have mercy on us!" NIV 27 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!” NKJV 28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord." NIV 28 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”“Yes, Lord,” they replied. NKJV 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you." NIV 29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”; NKJV 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, "See that no one knows it." NIV 30 and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.” NKJV 31 But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country. NIV 31 But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region. NKJV 32 As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon-possessed. NIV 32 While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus. NKJV 33 And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, "It was never seen like this in Israel!" NIV 33 And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.” NKJV 34 But the Pharisees said, "He casts out demons by the ruler of the demons." NIV 34 But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.” NKJV 35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. NIV 35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. NKJV 36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. NIV 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. NKJV 37 Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. NIV 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. NKJV 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." NIV 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
