1 L<br /> P<br /> (Salmos 1–41)<br />Salmo 1<br />Qué alegría para los que<br />no siguen el consejo de malos,<br />ni andan con pecadores,<br />ni se juntan con burlones;

2 sino que se deleitan en la ley del Señor<br />meditando en ella día y noche.

3 Son como árboles plantados a la orilla de un río,<br />que siempre dan fruto en su tiempo.<br />Sus hojas nunca se marchitan,<br />y prosperan en todo lo que hacen.

4 ¡No sucede lo mismo con los malos!<br />Son como paja inútil que esparce el viento.

5 Serán condenados cuando llegue el juicio;<br />los pecadores no tendrán lugar entre los justos.

6 Pues el Señor<br /> cuida el sendero de los justos,<br />pero la senda de los malos lleva a la destrucción.

New International Version NIV

1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,

2 but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night.

3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.

4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.

5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6 For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.
