KJV 11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; NIV 11 Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands)— KJV 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: NIV 12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. KJV 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. NIV 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. KJV 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; NIV 14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, KJV 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; NIV 15 by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, KJV 16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: NIV 16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. KJV 17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. NIV 17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. KJV 18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. NIV 18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
