1 Móxī huídá shuō , tāmen bì bù xìn wǒ , yĕ bù tīng wǒde huà , bì shuō , Yēhéhuá bìng méiyǒu xiàng nǐ xiǎnxiàn .
1 Moses answered, “What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, ‘The LORD did not appear to you’?”
2 Yēhéhuá duì Móxī shuō , nǐ shǒu lǐ shì shénme . tā shuō , shì zhàng .
2 Then the LORD said to him, “What is that in your hand?” “A staff,” he replied.
3 Yēhéhuá shuō , diū zaì dì shàng . tā yī diū xià qù , jiù biàn zuò shé , Móxī biàn paó kāi .
3 The LORD said, “Throw it on the ground.” Moses threw it on the ground and it became a snake, and he ran from it.
4 Yēhéhuá duì Móxī shuō , shēn chū shǒu lái , ná zhù tā de wĕiba , tā bì zaì nǐ shǒu zhōng réng biàn wéi zhàng ,
4 Then the LORD said to him, “Reach out your hand and take it by the tail.” So Moses reached out and took hold of the snake and it turned back into a staff in his hand.
5 Rúcǐ hǎo jiào tāmen xìn Yēhéhuá tāmen zǔzong de shén , jiù shì Yàbólāhǎn de shén , Yǐsā de shén , Yǎgè de shén , shì xiàng nǐ xiǎnxiàn le .
5 “This,” said the LORD, “is so that they may believe that the LORD, the God of their fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has appeared to you.”
6 Yēhéhuá yòu duì tā shuō , bǎ shǒu fàng zaì huái lǐ . tā jiù bǎ shǒu fàng zaì huái lǐ , jízhì chōu chūlai , búliào , shǒu zhǎng le dàmáfēng , yǒu xuĕ nàyàng bái .
6 Then the LORD said, “Put your hand inside your cloak.” So Moses put his hand into his cloak, and when he took it out, the skin was leprous —it had become as white as snow.
7 Yēhéhuá shuō , zaì bǎ shǒu fàng zaì huái lǐ . tā jiù zaì bǎ shǒu fàng zaì huái lǐ , jízhì cóng huái lǐ chōu chūlai , búliào , shǒu yǐjing fù yuán , yǔ zhōu shēn de ròu yíyàng ,
7 “Now put it back into your cloak,” he said. So Moses put his hand back into his cloak, and when he took it out, it was restored, like the rest of his flesh.
8 Yòu shuō , tǎnghuò tāmen bú tīng nǐde huà , yĕ bú xìn tóu yī gè shénjī , tāmen bì xìn dì èr gè shénjī .
8 Then the LORD said, “If they do not believe you or pay attention to the first sign, they may believe the second.
9 Zhè liǎng gè shénjī ruò dōu bú xìn , yĕ bú tīng nǐde huà , nǐ jiù cóng hé lǐ qǔ xiē shuǐ , dǎo zaì hàndì shàng , nǐ cóng hé lǐ qǔ de shuǐ bì zaì hàndì shàng biàn zuò xuè .
9 But if they do not believe these two signs or listen to you, take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry ground. The water you take from the river will become blood on the ground.”
10 Móxī duì Yēhéhuá shuō , Zhǔ a , wǒ sù rì bù shì néng yán de rén , jiù shì cóng nǐ duì púrén shuōhuà yǐhòu , yĕ shì zhèyàng . wǒ bĕn shì zhuō kǒu bèn shé de .
10 Moses said to the LORD, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”
11 Yēhéhuá duì tā shuō , shuí zào rén de kǒu ne , shuí shǐ rénkǒu yē , ĕr lóng , mù míng , yǎn xiā ne , qǐbù shì wǒ Yēhéhuá ma .
11 The LORD said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the LORD?
12 Xiànzaì qù ba , wǒ bì cì nǐ kǒu cái , zhǐjiào nǐ suǒ dàng shuō de huà .
12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”
13 Móxī shuō , Zhǔ a , nǐ yuànyì dǎfa shuí , jiù dǎfa shuí qù ba .
13 But Moses said, “Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.”
14 Yēhéhuá xiàng Móxī fānù shuō , bú shì yǒu nǐde gēge Lìwèi rén Yàlún ma , wǒ zhīdào tā shì néng yán de , xiànzaì tā chūlai yíngjiē nǐ , tā yī jiàn nǐ , xīnli jiù huānxǐ .
14 Then the LORD’s anger burned against Moses and he said, “What about your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he can speak well. He is already on his way to meet you, and he will be glad to see you.
15 Nǐ yào jiàng dàng shuō de huà chuán gĕi tā , wǒ yĕ yào cì nǐ hé tā kǒu cái , yòu yào zhǐjiào nǐmen suǒ dàng xíng de shì .
15 You shall speak to him and put words in his mouth; I will help both of you speak and will teach you what to do.
16 Tā yào tì nǐ duì bǎixìng shuōhuà , nǐ yào yǐ tā dàng zuò kǒu , tā yào yǐ nǐ dàng zuò shén .
16 He will speak to the people for you, and it will be as if he were your mouth and as if you were God to him.
17 Nǐ shǒu lǐ yào ná zhè zhàng , hǎo xíng shénjī .
17 But take this staff in your hand so you can perform the signs with it.”
18 Yúshì , Móxī huí dào tā yuèfù Yètèluō nàli , duì tā shuō , qiú nǐ róng wǒ huí qù jiàn wǒ zaì Āijí de dìxiōng , kàn tāmen hái zaì bú zaì . Yètèluō duì Móxī shuō , nǐ kĕyǐ píng píngān ān dì qù ba .
18 Then Moses went back to Jethro his father-in-law and said to him, “Let me return to my own people in Egypt to see if any of them are still alive.” Jethro said, “Go, and I wish you well.”
19 Yēhéhuá zaì Mǐdiàn duì Móxī shuō , nǐ yào huí Āijí qù , yīnwei xún suǒ nǐ méng de rén dōu sǐ le .
19 Now the LORD had said to Moses in Midian, “Go back to Egypt, for all those who wanted to kill you are dead.”
20 Móxī jiù daì zhe qīzi hé liǎng gè érzi , jiào tāmen qí shàng lü , huí Āijí dì qù . Móxī shǒu lǐ ná zhe shén de zhàng .
20 So Moses took his wife and sons, put them on a donkey and started back to Egypt. And he took the staff of God in his hand.
21 Yēhéhuá duì Móxī shuō , nǐ huí dào Āijí de shíhou , yào liúyì jiàng wǒ zhǐshì nǐde yīqiè qí shì xíng zaì fǎlǎo miànqián . dàn wǒ yào shǐ ( huò zuò rènpíng xià tóng ) tāde xīn gāng yìng , tā bì bùróng bǎixìng qù .
21 The LORD said to Moses, “When you return to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all the wonders I have given you the power to do. But I will harden his heart so that he will not let the people go.
22 Nǐ yào duì fǎlǎo shuō , Yēhéhuá zhèyàng shuō , Yǐsèliè shì wǒde érzi , wǒde zhǎngzǐ .
22 Then say to Pharaoh, ‘This is what the LORD says: Israel is my firstborn son,
23 Wǒ duì nǐ shuō guò , róng wǒde érzi qù , hǎo shìfèng wǒ . nǐ háishì bú kĕn róng tā qù . kàn nǎ , wǒ yào shā nǐde zhǎngzǐ .
23 and I told you, “Let my son go, so he may worship me.” But you refused to let him go; so I will kill your firstborn son.’ ”
24 Móxī zaì lù shàng zhù sù de dìfang , Yēhéhuá yùjiàn tā , xiǎng yào shā tā .
24 At a lodging place on the way, the LORD met Moses and was about to kill him.
25 Xīpōlā jiù ná yī kuaì huǒshí , gē xià tā érzi de yáng pí , diū zaì Móxī jiǎo qián , shuō , nǐ zhēn shì wǒde xuè láng le .
25 But Zipporah took a flint knife, cut off her son’s foreskin and touched Moses’ feet with it. “Surely you are a bridegroom of blood to me,” she said.
26 Zhèyàng , Yēhéhuá cái fàng le tā . Xīpōlā shuō , nǐ yīn gēlǐ jiù shì xuè láng le .
26 So the LORD let him alone. (At that time she said “bridegroom of blood,” referring to circumcision.)
27 Yēhéhuá duì Yàlún shuō , nǐ wàng kuàngyĕ qù yíngjiē Móxī . tā jiù qù , zaì shén de shān yùjiàn Móxī , hé tā qīnzuǐ.
27 The LORD said to Aaron, “Go into the wilderness to meet Moses.” So he met Moses at the mountain of God and kissed him.
28 Móxī jiàng Yēhéhuá dǎfa tā suǒ shuō de yányǔ hé zhǔfu tā suǒ xíng de shénjī dōu gàosu le Yàlún .
28 Then Moses told Aaron everything the LORD had sent him to say, and also about all the signs he had commanded him to perform.
29 Móxī , Yàlún jiù qù zhāo jù Yǐsèliè de zhòng zhǎnglǎo .
29 Moses and Aaron brought together all the elders of the Israelites,
30 Yàlún jiàng Yēhéhuá duì Móxī suǒ shuō de yīqiè huà shùshuō le yī biàn , yòu zaì bǎixìng yǎnqián xíng le nàxiē shénjī ,
30 and Aaron told them everything the LORD had said to Moses. He also performed the signs before the people,
31 Bǎixìng jiù xìn le . Yǐsèliè rén tīngjian Yēhéhuá juàngù tāmen , jiàn chá tāmende kùnkǔ , jiù dī tóu xià baì .
31 and they believed. And when they heard that the LORD was concerned about them and had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped.
