2 “Son of man, take up a lament concerning Tyre.

«Hijo de hombre, dedícale este canto fúnebre a Tiro,
3 Say to Tyre, situated at the gateway to the sea, merchant of peoples on many coasts, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: “ ‘You say, Tyre, “I am perfect in beauty.”

ciudad asentada junto al mar y que trafica con pueblos de muchas costas lejanas:»Así dice el SEÑOR omnipotente:»“Tú, ciudad de Tiro,pretendes ser hermosa y perfecta.
4 Your domain was on the high seas; your builders brought your beauty to perfection.

Tu dominio está en alta mar,tus constructores resaltaron tu hermosura.
5 They made all your timbers of juniper from Senir ; they took a cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you.

Con pinos del monte Senirhicieron todos tus entablados.Con cedros del Líbanoarmaron tu mástil.
6 Of oaks from Bashan they made your oars; of cypress wood from the coasts of Cyprus they made your deck, adorned with ivory.

Con encinas de Basánconstruyeron tus remos,y con cipreses de Chipreensamblaron tu cubierta,la cual fue decoradacon incrustaciones de marfil.
7 Fine embroidered linen from Egypt was your sail and served as your banner; your awnings were of blue and purple from the coasts of Elishah.

Con lino bordado de Egiptohicieron tus velas,y estas te sirvieron de bandera.De las costas de Elisá trajerontelas moradas y rojas para tu toldo.
8 Men of Sidon and Arvad were your oarsmen; your skilled men, Tyre, were aboard as your sailors.

Oh, Tiro, tus remeros vinieron de Sidón y de Arvad.A bordo iban tus propios timoneles,los más expertos hombres de mar.
9 Veteran craftsmen of Byblos were on board as shipwrights to caulk your seams. All the ships of the sea and their sailors came alongside to trade for your wares.

Los hábiles veteranos de Guebalrepararon los daños en la nave.Los marineros de todas las naves del marnegociaron con tus mercancías.
10 “ ‘Men of Persia, Lydia and Put served as soldiers in your army. They hung their shields and helmets on your walls, bringing you splendor.

Hombres de Persia, Lidia y Futmilitaron en tu ejército.Te adornaron con escudos y cascos;¡sacaron a relucir tu esplendor!
11 Men of Arvad and Helek guarded your walls on every side; men of Gammad were in your towers. They hung their shields around your walls; they brought your beauty to perfection.

»”Los de Arvad, junto con tu ejército, defendían los muros que te rodean, y los de Gamad estaban apostados en tus torres. A lo largo de tus muros colgaban sus escudos, haciendo resaltar tu hermosura.
12 “ ‘Tarshish did business with you because of your great wealth of goods; they exchanged silver, iron, tin and lead for your merchandise.

Era tal tu riqueza que Tarsis comerciaba contigo. A cambio de tu mercadería, ella te ofrecía plata, hierro, estaño y plomo.
13 “ ‘Greece, Tubal and Meshek did business with you; they traded human beings and articles of bronze for your wares.

También Grecia, Tubal y Mésec negociaban contigo, y a cambio de tus mercancías te ofrecían esclavos y objetos de bronce.
14 “ ‘Men of Beth Togarmah exchanged chariot horses, cavalry horses and mules for your merchandise.

La gente de Bet Togarma te pagaba con caballos de trabajo, caballos de montar y mulos.
15 “ ‘The men of Rhodes traded with you, and many coastlands were your customers; they paid you with ivory tusks and ebony.

Los habitantes de Rodas también comerciaban contigo. Concretabas negocios con muchas islas del mar, las cuales te pagaban con ébano y colmillos de marfil.
16 “ ‘Aram did business with you because of your many products; they exchanged turquoise, purple fabric, embroidered work, fine linen, coral and rubies for your merchandise.

Por los muchos productos que tenías, Siria comerciaba contigo y a cambio te entregaba topacio, telas teñidas de púrpura, telas bordadas, lino fino, corales y rubíes.
17 “ ‘Judah and Israel traded with you; they exchanged wheat from Minnith and confections, honey, olive oil and balm for your wares.

Judá e Israel también comerciaban contigo. Te ofrecían trigo de Minit, pasteles, miel, aceite y bálsamo.
18 “ ‘Damascus did business with you because of your many products and great wealth of goods. They offered wine from Helbon, wool from Zahar

Por la gran cantidad de tus productos, y por la abundancia de tu riqueza, también Damasco comerciaba contigo. Te pagaba con vino de Jelbón y lana de Sajar.
19 and casks of wine from Izal in exchange for your wares: wrought iron, cassia and calamus.

A cambio de tus mercancías, los danitas y los griegos te traían de Uzal hierro forjado, canela y caña aromática.
20 “ ‘Dedan traded in saddle blankets with you.

Dedán te vendía aparejos para montar.
21 “ ‘Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your customers; they did business with you in lambs, rams and goats.

Tus clientes eran Arabia y todos los príncipes de Cedar, quienes te pagaban con corderos, carneros y chivos.
22 “ ‘The merchants of Sheba and Raamah traded with you; for your merchandise they exchanged the finest of all kinds of spices and precious stones, and gold.

También eran tus clientes los comerciantes de Sabá y Ragama. A cambio de mercancías, te entregaban oro, piedras preciosas y los mejores perfumes.
23 “ ‘Harran, Kanneh and Eden and merchants of Sheba, Ashur and Kilmad traded with you.

Jarán, Cané, Edén y los comerciantes de Sabá, Asiria y Quilmad negociaban contigo.
24 In your marketplace they traded with you beautiful garments, blue fabric, embroidered work and multicolored rugs with cords twisted and tightly knotted.

Para abastecer tus mercados te vendían hermosas telas, mantos de color púrpura, bordados, tapices de muchos colores y cuerdas muy bien trenzadas.
25 “ ‘The ships of Tarshish serve as carriers for your wares. You are filled with heavy cargo as you sail the sea.

Las naves de Tarsis transportaban tus mercancías.»”Cargada de riquezas,navegabas en alta mar.
26 Your oarsmen take you out to the high seas. But the east wind will break you to pieces far out at sea.

Tus remeros te llevaron por los mares inmensos,en alta mar el viento del este te hizo pedazos.
27 Your wealth, merchandise and wares, your mariners, sailors and shipwrights, your merchants and all your soldiers, and everyone else on board will sink into the heart of the sea on the day of your shipwreck.

El día de tu naufragiose hundirán en el fondo del martu riqueza, tu mercancía y tus productos,tus marineros y tus timoneles,los que reparan tus naves y tus comerciantes,tus soldados y toda tu tripulación.
28 The shorelands will quake when your sailors cry out.

Al grito de tus timonelestemblarán las costas.
29 All who handle the oars will abandon their ships; the mariners and all the sailors will stand on the shore.

Todos los remeros abandonarán las naves;marineros y timoneles bajarán a tierra.
30 They will raise their voice and cry bitterly over you; they will sprinkle dust on their heads and roll in ashes.

Por ti levantarán la vozy llorarán con amargura;se echarán ceniza sobre la cabeza,y se revolcarán en ella.
31 They will shave their heads because of you and will put on sackcloth. They will weep over you with anguish of soul and with bitter mourning.

Por tu culpa se raparán la cabeza,y se vestirán de luto.Llorarán por ti con gran amargura,y con angustiosos gemidos.
32 As they wail and mourn over you, they will take up a lament concerning you: “Who was ever silenced like Tyre, surrounded by the sea?”

Entonarán sentidos lamentos,y en tono de amarga queja dirán:‘¿Quién en medio de los marespodía compararse a Tiro?’
33 When your merchandise went out on the seas, you satisfied many nations; with your great wealth and your wares you enriched the kings of the earth.

Cuando desembarcaban tus productosmuchas naciones quedaban satisfechas.Con tus muchas riquezas y mercancías,enriquecías a los reyes de la tierra.
34 Now you are shattered by the sea in the depths of the waters; your wares and all your company have gone down with you.

Pero ahora el mar te ha hecho pedazos,¡yaces en lo profundo de las aguas!Tus mercancías y toda tu tripulaciónse hundieron contigo.
35 All who live in the coastlands are appalled at you; their kings shudder with horror and their faces are distorted with fear.

Por ti están horrorizadostodos los habitantes de las costas;sus reyes tiemblan de miedo,y en su rostro se dibuja el terror.
36 The merchants among the nations scoff at you; you have come to a horrible end and will be no more.’ ”

Atónitos se han quedadolos comerciantes de otros países;¡tu fin ha llegado!,¡nunca más volverás a existir!”»
