CJB 21 ADONAI smelled the sweet aroma, and ADONAI said in his heart, "I will never again curse the ground because of humankind, since the imaginings of a person's heart are evil from his youth; nor will I ever again destroy all living things, as I have done. NIV 21 The LORD smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: “Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done. CJB 22 So long as the earth exists, sowing time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night will not cease." NIV 22 “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.”
