Hebrews 10:19-28

NRSA 19 Therefore, my friends, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus, NIV 19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, NRSA 20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain (that is, through his flesh), NIV 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, NRSA 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, NIV 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, NRSA 22 let us approach with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. NIV 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. NRSA 23 Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who has promised is faithful. NIV 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. NRSA 24 And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, NIV 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, NRSA 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching. NIV 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. NRSA 26 For if we willfully persist in sin after having received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, NIV 26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, NRSA 27 but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. NIV 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. NRSA 28 Anyone who has violated the law of Moses dies without mercy "on the testimony of two or three witnesses." NIV 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
