1 “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.

»¡Vengan a las aguastodos los que tengan sed!¡Vengan a comprar y a comerlos que no tengan dinero!Vengan, compren vino y lechesin pago alguno.
2 Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare.

¿Por qué gastan dinero en lo que no es pan,y su salario en lo que no satisface?Escúchenme bien, y comerán lo que es bueno,y se deleitarán con manjares deliciosos.
3 Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.

Presten atención y vengan a mí,escúchenme y vivirán.Haré con ustedes un pacto eterno,conforme a mi constante amor por David.
4 See, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a ruler and commander of the peoples.

Lo he puesto como testigo para los pueblos,como su jefe supremo.
5 Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor.”

Sin duda convocarás a nacionesque no conocías,y naciones que no te conocíancorrerán hacia ti,gracias al SEÑOR tu Dios,el Santo de Israel,que te ha colmado de honor».
6 Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.

Busquen al SEÑOR mientras se deje encontrar,llámenlo mientras esté cercano.
7 Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

Que abandone el malvado su camino,y el perverso sus pensamientos.Que se vuelva al SEÑOR, a nuestro Dios,que es generoso para perdonar,y de él recibirá misericordia.
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.

«Porque mis pensamientos no son los de ustedes,ni sus caminos son los míos—afirma el SEÑOR—.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Mis caminos y mis pensamientosson más altos que los de ustedes;¡más altos que los cielos sobre la tierra!
10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

Así como la lluvia y la nievedescienden del cielo,y no vuelven allá sin regar antes la tierray hacerla fecundar y germinarpara que dé semilla al que siembray pan al que come,
11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

así es también la palabra que sale de mi boca:No volverá a mí vacía,sino que hará lo que yo deseoy cumplirá con mis propósitos.
12 You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

Ustedes saldrán con alegríay serán guiados en paz.A su paso, las montañas y las colinasprorrumpirán en gritos de júbiloy aplaudirán todos los árboles del bosque.
13 Instead of the thornbush will grow the juniper, and instead of briers the myrtle will grow. This will be for the LORD’s renown, for an everlasting sign, that will endure forever.”

En vez de zarzas, crecerán cipreses;mirtos, en lugar de ortigas.Esto le dará renombre al SEÑOR;será una señal que durará para siempre».
