Job 1:4-5

KJV 4 And his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them. NIV 4 His sons used to hold feasts in their homes on their birthdays, and they would invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. KJV 5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually. NIV 5 When a period of feasting had run its course, Job would make arrangements for them to be purified. Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them, thinking, “Perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular custom.
