Jude 1:16-25

GNTA 16 These people are always grumbling and blaming others; they follow their own evil desires; they brag about themselves and flatter others in order to get their own way. NIV 16 These people are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage. GNTA 17 But remember, my friends, what you were told in the past by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. NIV 17 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. GNTA 18 They said to you, "When the last days come, people will appear who will make fun of you, people who follow their own godless desires." NIV 18 They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” GNTA 19 These are the people who cause divisions, who are controlled by their natural desires, who do not have the Spirit. NIV 19 These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. GNTA 20 But you, my friends, keep on building yourselves up on your most sacred faith. Pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, NIV 20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, GNTA 21 and keep yourselves in the love of God, as you wait for our Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy to give you eternal life. NIV 23 save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh. GNTA 24 To him who is able to keep you from falling and to bring you faultless and joyful before his glorious presence - NIV 24 To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— GNTA 25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, might, and authority, from all ages past, and now, and forever and ever! Amen. NIV 25 to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
