1 L'Éternel parla à Moïse, en disant:

And Hashem spoke unto Moshe, saying,
2 Prends Aaron et ses fils avec lui, les vêtements, l'huile d'onction, le taureau du sacrifice pour le péché, les deux béliers, et la corbeille de pains sans levain;

Take Aharon and his Banim with him, and the garments, and the shemen hamishchah (anointing oil), and a bull for the chattat (sin offering), and two rams, and a basket of matzot;
3 Et convoque toute l'assemblée à l'entrée du tabernacle d'assignation.

And gather thou Kol HaEdah together unto the entrance of the Ohel Mo’ed.
4 Moïse fit donc comme l'Éternel lui avait commandé; et l'assemblée fut convoquée à l'entrée du tabernacle d'assignation.

And Moshe did as Hashem commanded him; and HaEdah (the Assembly) was gathered together unto the entrance of the Ohel Mo’ed.
5 Et Moïse dit à l'assemblée: Voici ce que l'Éternel a commandé de faire.

And Moshe said unto HaEdah, This is the thing which Hashem commanded to be done.
6 Puis Moïse fit approcher Aaron et ses fils, et les lava avec de l'eau.

And Moshe brought Aharon and his Banim, and immersed them with mayim.
7 Et il mit à Aaron la tunique, le ceignit de la ceinture, et le revêtit de la robe; il lui mit l'éphod, et le ceignit de la ceinture de l'éphod, dont il le revêtit.

And he put upon him the Kesones [see Yn 19:23], and girded him with the Avnet (Sash), and clothed him with the Me’il (Robe), and put the Ephod upon him, and he girded him with the Cheishev (Belt) of the Ephod, and fastened it unto him therewith.
8 Il lui mit aussi le pectoral, et mit au pectoral l'Urim et le Thummim.

And he put the Choshen (Breastplate) upon him; also he put in the Choshen the Urim and the Tummim.
9 Il posa la tiare sur sa tête, et sur le devant de la tiare, la lame d'or, la couronne sainte, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

And he put the Mitznefet (Turban) upon his head; also upon the Mitznefet (Turban) toward his face did he put the Tzitz (Headplate), the Nezer Hakodesh (Holy Diadem); as Hashem commanded Moshe.
10 Ensuite Moïse prit l'huile d'onction; il oignit la Demeure, et toutes les choses qui y étaient, et les consacra.

And Moshe took the Shemen HaMishchah, and anointed the Mishkan (Tabernacle) and all that was therein and he set them apart as kodesh.
11 Il en fit aspersion sur l'autel par sept fois, et il oignit l'autel et tous ses ustensiles, et la cuve avec son soubassement, pour les consacrer.

And he sprinkled thereof upon the Mizbe’ach seven times, and anointed the Mizbe’ach and all its utensils, both the Kiyor (Laver) and its stand, to set them apart as kodesh.
12 Il versa aussi de l'huile d'onction sur la tête d'Aaron, et l'oignit pour le consacrer.

And he poured of the Shemen HaMishchah upon Aharon’s head, and anointed him, to set him apart as kodesh.
13 Puis Moïse fit approcher les fils d'Aaron, et les revêtit de tuniques, les ceignit de ceintures, et leur attacha des mitres, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

And Moshe brought the Bnei Aharon, and put Kuttonot upon them, and girded them with Sashes, and put Migba’ot (headbands) upon them; as Hashem commanded Moshe.
14 Il fit approcher le taureau du sacrifice pour le péché, et Aaron et ses fils appuyèrent leurs mains sur la tête du taureau du sacrifice pour le péché;

And he brought the bull for the chattat (sin offering); and Aharon and his Banim laid their hands upon the head of the bull for the chattat (sin offering).
15 Et Moïse l'égorgea, prit le sang, et en mit avec son doigt sur les cornes de l'autel tout autour, et purifia l'autel; puis il répandit le sang au pied de l'autel, et le consacra ainsi pour y faire l'expiation.

And he slaughtered (shachat) it; and Moshe took the dahm, and put it upon the horns of the Mizbe’ach around with his forefinger, and purified the Mizbe’ach, and poured the dahm at the base of the Mizbe’ach, and set it apart as kodesh, to make kapporah for it.
16 Et il prit toute la graisse qui était sur les entrailles, la membrane qui recouvre le foie, et les deux rognons avec leur graisse, et Moïse les fit fumer sur l'autel.

And he took all the chelev (fat) that was upon the innards, and the diaphragm above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their chelev (fat), and Moshe burned it upon the Mizbe’ach.
17 Mais il brûla au feu hors du camp le taureau, sa peau, sa chair et ses excréments, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

But the bull, and its hide, its basar, and its dung, he burned with eish outside the machaneh; as Hashem commanded Moshe.
18 Il fit aussi approcher le bélier de l'holocauste, et Aaron et ses fils appuyèrent leurs mains sur la tête du bélier;

And he brought the ram for the olah (burnt offering); and Aharon and his Banim laid their hands upon the head of the ram.
19 Et Moïse l'égorgea, et répandit le sang sur l'autel tout autour.

And he slaughtered (shachat) it; and Moshe sprinkled the dahm upon the Mizbe’ach around.
20 Puis il coupa le bélier en morceaux; et Moïse fit fumer la tête, les morceaux, et la graisse.

And he cut the ram into pieces; and Moshe burned the head, and the pieces, and the chelev (fat).
21 Et il lava dans l'eau les entrailles et les jambes, et Moïse fit fumer tout le bélier sur l'autel; ce fut l'holocauste d'agréable odeur; ce fut un sacrifice fait par le feu à l'Éternel, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

And he washed the innards and the legs in mayim; and Moshe burned the whole ram upon the Mizbe’ach; it was an olah for a re’ach nicho’ach, and an offering made by eish unto Hashem; just as Hashem commanded Moshe.
22 Il fit aussi approcher le second bélier, le bélier d'installation; et Aaron et ses fils appuyèrent leurs mains sur la tête du bélier.

And he brought the other ram, the ram of ordination; and Aharon and his Banim laid their hands upon the head of the ram.
23 Moïse l'égorgea, prit de son sang et en mit sur le bout de l'oreille droite d'Aaron, et sur le pouce de sa main droite, et sur le gros orteil de son pied droit.

And he slaughtered (shachat) it; and Moshe took of the dahm of it, and put it upon the lobe of Aharon’s right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the bohen of his right foot.
24 Moise fit aussi approcher les fils d'Aaron, mit du sang sur le bout de leur oreille droite, sur le pouce de leur main droite, et sur le gros orteil de leur pied droit, et Moïse répandit le sang sur l'autel tout autour.

And he brought Aharon’s Banim, and Moshe put of the dahm upon the lobe of their right ear, and upon the thumbs of their right hands, and upon the bohen of their right feet: and Moshe sprinkled the dahm upon the Mizbe’ach around.
25 Ensuite il prit la graisse, la queue, toute la graisse qui était sur les entrailles, la membrane qui recouvre le foie, les deux rognons avec leur graisse, et la jambe droite;

And he took the chelev (fat), and the tail, and all the chelev (fat) that was upon the innards, and the diaphragm above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their chelev (fat), and the right thigh:
26 Il prit aussi de la corbeille des pains sans levain, qui était devant l'Éternel, un gâteau sans levain, un gâteau de pain à l'huile, et une galette; et il les mit sur les graisses et sur la jambe droite.

And out of the basket of matzot, that was before Hashem, he took one challat matzot, and a loaf of oiled lechem, and one wafer, and put them on the chelavim, and upon the right thigh:
27 Puis il plaça le tout dans les mains d'Aaron, et dans les mains de ses fils, et il les agita en offrande devant l'Éternel.

And he put all upon Aharon’s hands, and upon the hands of his Banim, and waved them for a tenufah (wave offering) before Hashem.
28 Puis Moïse les prit de leurs mains, et les fit fumer à l'autel, sur l'holocauste; ce fut le sacrifice d'installation, d'agréable odeur, un sacrifice fait par le feu à l'Éternel.

And Moshe took them from off their hands, and burned them on the Mizbe’ach upon the olah (burnt offering); they were ordination offerings for a re’ach nicho’ach; it is an offering made by eish unto Hashem.
29 Moïse prit aussi la poitrine du bélier d'installation, et l'agita en offrande devant l'Éternel; ce fut la portion de Moïse, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

And Moshe took the breast, and waved it for a tenufah before Hashem: it was Moshe’s share of the ram of ordination; just as Hashem commanded Moshe.
30 Et Moïse prit de l'huile d'onction et du sang qui était sur l'autel; il en fit aspersion sur Aaron et sur ses vêtements, sur ses fils, et sur les vêtements de ses fils avec lui; et il consacra Aaron et ses vêtements, ses fils, et les vêtements de ses fils avec lui.

And Moshe took of the shemen hamishchah, and of the dahm which was upon the Mizbe’ach, and sprinkled it upon Aharon, and upon his garments, and upon his Banim, and upon the garments of his Banim with him; and he set apart as kodesh Aharon, and his garments, and his Banim, and the garments of his Banim with him.
31 Puis Moïse dit à Aaron et à ses fils: Faites cuire la chair à l'entrée du tabernacle d'assignation et vous la mangerez là, avec le pain qui est dans la corbeille d'installation, comme je l'ai commandé, en disant: Aaron et ses fils la mangeront.

And Moshe said unto Aharon and to his Banim, Cook the basar at the entrance of the Ohel Mo’ed: and there eat it with the lechem that is in the basket of ordination offerings, as I commanded, saying, Aharon and his Banim shall eat it.
32 Mais vous brûlerez au feu ce qui restera de la chair et du pain.

And that which remaineth of the basar and of the lechem shall ye burn with eish.
33 Et pendant sept jours, vous ne sortirez pas de l'entrée du tabernacle d'assignation, jusqu'à ce que les jours de votre installation soient accomplis; car on vous installera pendant sept jours.

And ye shall not go out of the entrance of the Ohel Mo’ed in seven days, until the days of your ordination be at an end: for seven days shall he fill your hand [consecrate you in ordination as kohanim].
34 L'Éternel a commandé de faire comme on a fait aujourd'hui, pour faire expiation pour vous.

As he hath done this day, so Hashem hath commanded to do, to make kapporah for you.
35 Vous resterez donc sept jours à l'entrée du tabernacle d'assignation, jour et nuit, et vous observerez le commandement de l'Éternel, afin que vous ne mouriez pas; car il m'a été ainsi commandé.
35
Therefore shall ye abide at the entrance of the Ohel Mo’ed yomam valailah seven days and be shomer over the mishmeret (charge) of Hashem, that ye die not: for so I have been commanded.
36 Et Aaron et ses fils firent toutes les choses que l'Éternel avait commandées par Moïse.
36
So Aharon and his Banim did all things which Hashem commanded by the hand of Moshe.
