NCV 1 Then Jesus used this story to teach his followers that they should always pray and never lose hope. NIV 1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. NCV 2 "In a certain town there was a judge who did not respect God or care about people. NIV 2 He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. NCV 3 In that same town there was a widow who kept coming to this judge, saying, 'Give me my rights against my enemy.' NIV 3 And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’ NCV 4 For a while the judge refused to help her.
