HNV 61 The Lord turned, and looked at Kefa. Kefa remembered the Lord's word, how he said to him, "Before the rooster crows you will deny me three times." NIV 61 The Lord turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word the Lord had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows today, you will disown me three times.” HNV 62 He went out, and wept bitterly. NIV 62 And he went outside and wept bitterly. HNV 63 The men who held Yeshua mocked him and beat him. NIV 63 The men who were guarding Jesus began mocking and beating him. HNV 64 Having blindfolded him, they struck him on the face and asked him, "Prophesy! Who is the one who struck you?" NIV 64 They blindfolded him and demanded, “Prophesy! Who hit you?” HNV 65 They spoke many other things against him, insulting him. NIV 65 And they said many other insulting things to him. HNV 66 As soon as it was day, the assembly of the Zakenim of the people was gathered together, both chief Kohanim and Sofrim, and they led him away into their council, saying, NIV 66 At daybreak the council of the elders of the people, both the chief priests and the teachers of the law, met together, and Jesus was led before them. HNV 67 "If you are the Messiah, tell us." But he said to them, "If I tell you, you won't believe, NIV 67 “If you are the Messiah,” they said, “tell us.” Jesus answered, “If I tell you, you will not believe me, HNV 68 and if I ask, you will in no way answer me or let me go. NIV 68 and if I asked you, you would not answer. HNV 69 From now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God." NIV 69 But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God.” HNV 70 They all said, "Are you then the Son of God?" He said to them, "You say it, because I AM." NIV 70 They all asked, “Are you then the Son of God?” He replied, “You say that I am.” HNV 71 They said, "Why do we need any more witness? For we ourselves have heard from his own mouth!" NIV 71 Then they said, “Why do we need any more testimony? We have heard it from his own lips.”
