Mark 1:7-11

RHE 7 And he preached, saying: There cometh after me one mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and loose. NIV 7 And this was his message: “After me comes the one more powerful than I, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie. RHE 8 I have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. NIV 8 I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” RHE 9 And it came to pass, in those days, Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in Jordan. NIV 9 At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. RHE 10 And forthwith coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens open and the Spirit as a dove descending and remaining on him. NIV 10 Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. RHE 11 And there came a voice from heaven: Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. NIV 11 And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”
