Philippians 4:1-9

CEB 1 Therefore, my brothers and sisters whom I love and miss, who are my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord. Loved ones, NRS 1 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, my beloved. CEB 2 I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to come to an agreement in the Lord. NRS 2 I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. CEB 3 Yes, and I'm also asking you, loyal friend, to help these women who have struggled together with me in the ministry of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my coworkers whose names are in the scroll of life. NRS 3 Yes, and I ask you also, my loyal companion, help these women, for they have struggled beside me in the work of the gospel, together with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are in the book of life. CEB 4 Be glad in the Lord always! Again I say, be glad! NRS 4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. CEB 5 Let your gentleness show in your treatment of all people. The Lord is near. NRS 5 Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. CEB 6 Don't be anxious about anything; rather, bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks. NRS 6 Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. CEB 7 Then the peace of God that exceeds all understanding will keep your hearts and minds safe in Christ Jesus. NRS 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. CEB 8 From now on, brothers and sisters, if anything is excellent and if anything is admirable, focus your thoughts on these things: all that is true, all that is holy, all that is just, all that is pure, all that is lovely, and all that is worthy of praise. NRS 8 Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. CEB 9 Practice these things: whatever you learned, received, heard, or saw in us. The God of peace will be with you. NRS 9 Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.
