Psalm 119:33-40

CSB 33 Teach me, Lord, the meaning of Your statutes, and I will always keep them. NIV 33 Teach me, LORD, the way of your decrees, that I may follow it to the end. CSB 34 Help me understand Your instruction, and I will obey it and follow it with all my heart. NIV 34 Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law and obey it with all my heart. CSB 35 Help me stay on the path of Your commands, for I take pleasure in it. NIV 35 Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight. CSB 36 Turn my heart to Your decrees and not to material gain. NIV 36 Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain. CSB 37 Turn my eyes from looking at what is worthless; give me life in Your ways. NIV 37 Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word. CSB 38 Confirm what You said to Your servant, for it produces reverence for You. NIV 38 Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared. CSB 39 Turn away the disgrace I dread; indeed, Your judgments are good. NIV 39 Take away the disgrace I dread, for your laws are good. CSB 40 How I long for Your precepts! Give me life through Your righteousness. NIV 40 How I long for your precepts! In your righteousness preserve my life.
