Psalm 119:51-61

NLT 51 The proud hold me in utter contempt, but I do not turn away from your instructions. NIV 51 The arrogant mock me unmercifully, but I do not turn from your law. NLT 52 I meditate on your age-old regulations; O LORD, they comfort me. NIV 52 I remember, LORD, your ancient laws, and I find comfort in them. NLT 53 I become furious with the wicked, because they reject your instructions. NIV 53 Indignation grips me because of the wicked, who have forsaken your law. NLT 54 Your decrees have been the theme of my songs wherever I have lived. NIV 54 Your decrees are the theme of my song wherever I lodge. NLT 55 I reflect at night on who you are, O LORD ; therefore, I obey your instructions. NIV 55 In the night, LORD, I remember your name, that I may keep your law. NLT 56 This is how I spend my life: obeying your commandments. NIV 56 This has been my practice: I obey your precepts. NLT 57 LORD, you are mine! I promise to obey your words! NIV 57 You are my portion, LORD; I have promised to obey your words. NLT 58 With all my heart I want your blessings. Be merciful as you promised. NIV 58 I have sought your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise. NLT 59 I pondered the direction of my life, and I turned to follow your laws. NIV 59 I have considered my ways and have turned my steps to your statutes. NLT 60 I will hurry, without delay, to obey your commands. NIV 60 I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands. NLT 61 Evil people try to drag me into sin, but I am firmly anchored to your instructions. NIV 61 Though the wicked bind me with ropes, I will not forget your law.
